IPL 2022 points table after Rajasthan vs Kolkata match on April 18, updated purple cap and orange cap

IPL 2022 Points Table: Rajasthan Royals(RR) climbed to the 2nd spot on the IPL points table after their thrilling 7-run win against Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) on Monday evening. Royals were earlier at the 5th spot in the IPL points table. Kolkata remain at the 6th position in the points table after they suffered their 3rd consecutive defeat in IPL 2022. Gujarat Titans are currently the table toppers with 5 wins in 6 games.

Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal who were the top run-getter and top wicket-taker so far, added more runs and wickets to their name as they remain the Orange and purple cap holders respectively. Buttler smashed his 2nd century of the season to take his total runs to 375 in 6 matches, Yuzvendra too got 5 scalps making it a total of 17 wickets so far.
