Kolkata Knight Riders did the double over the Royal Challengers Bangalore as they beat the home side by a comfortable 21-run margin at the Chinnaswamy.

Put in to bat first, Kolkata Knight Riders got off to a good start with Jason Roy and N Jagadeesan stitching together an 83-run opening partnership for the team.

Opener Jason Roy top continued his brilliant run for the Knight Riders, scoring a stunning 29-ball 56.

Skipper Nitish Rana (48) and Venkatesh Iyer (31) then put together another good partnership, and cameos from Rinku Singh & David Wiese ensured KKR got to 200.

In reply, it was the same story for RCB like the last game.

Opener Virat Kohli's 37-ball 54 turned out to be the top score as other batters succumbed to the spin trap yet again.

While Mahipal Lomror did play a valiant hand, with an 18-ball 34, the lower-order struggled once more

Varun Chakaravarthy finished with 3 wickets on the night, followed by Suyash Sharma and Andre Russell with 2 each to as RCB fell short by 21 runs.
