The India vs New Zealand semifinal will be Rod Tucker's 100th ODI as an onfield umpire.

Umpires announced for India vs New Zealand, South Africa vs Australia semifinals in Cricket World Cup

The match officials for the upcoming Cricket World Cup semifinals have been revealed. In the first semifinal clash between India and New Zealand, on-field umpires Rod Tucker and Richard Illingworth will take charge, supported by third umpire Joel Wilson, fourth umpire Adrian Holdstock, and match referee Andy Pycroft. This will be Tucker's 100th ODI as an onfield umpire, marking a significant milestone in his career.

The second semifinal, featuring Australia and South Africa, will see Nitin Menon and Richard Kettleborough as the onfield umpires. Nitin Menon is officiating in his first World Cup, while Kettleborough, who has recently completed a century of ODIs during this World Cup, will oversee his third consecutive World Cup semifinal. The match's other officials include Chris Gaffaney as the third umpire, Michael Gough as the fourth umpire, and Javagal Srinath as the match referee.

Indian Cricketers who are part of ICC Hall of Fame

Richard Illingworth, who will officiate in the India vs New Zealand match, has prior experience in World Cup semifinals, having served as an on-field umpire in the 2019 World Cup semifinal between India and New Zealand, which the Kiwis won by 18 runs. Joel Wilson, Adrian Holdstock, and Andy Pycroft complete the match officials' team for this game.

The first semifinal is scheduled for November 15 in Mumbai, while the second will be held on November 16 in Kolkata.
