India's heartbreaking world cup loss to Australia in the Cricket World Cup final saw Team India get a lot of messages of love and support. However, one of the notable messages came from none other than Olympic and World champion Neeraj Chopra.

India's javelin star Neeraj was apparently present at the Narendra Modi Stadium and posted a picture on his social media account after Team India's defeat.

The 25-year-old captioned his picture "Team India, you made us proud. Hard luck in the final. It wasn't our night, but a tournament that we'll never forget."

Netizens were also upset with the fact that no camera showed Neeraj inside the stadium cheering for the Indian team.
