ICC T20 World Cup 2022, India vs Netherlands Highlights : Team India continued their perfect start at T20 World Cup 2022 as Rohit Sharma's men thrashed the Netherlands by 56 runs in Sydney on Thursday. With 2 wins in 2 games, the Men in Blue took top spot in group 2.

Batting first, KL Rahul once again failed to impress and was out for just 9. However, his opening partner Rohit Sharma made most of the drop catch and registered his first half-century in last 8 T20I innings.

He was dismissed soon after for 53 but Virat Kohli rose to the occasion yet again and smashed an unbeaten 44-ball-62. He stitched a 95-run stand with Suryakumar Yadav, who also impressed with a 25-ball-51 not out. The pair powered India to 179/2.

Chasing a tricky total, the Netherlands never got going and lost wickets at regular intervals. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin took 2 wickets each as India restricted the Dutch to 123/9.

As a result, the Men in Blue registered their 25th win in T20I in 2022.
