In the shocking turn of events, Luton Town's EPL game against Bournemouth was suspended after Luton’s captain Tom Lockyer collapsed in the middle of the pitch.

In the second half of the match, the player fell on the ground near the centre circle and did not get back up again as the physios rushed into the field to administer the necessary medical actions. Luton Manager Rob Edwards also ran on to the pitch and ushered his players away so that the medics could get on with their jobs.

The player was ultimately stretchered off as both the teams left the field with the fans applauded. In an official statement released on Luton Town's X page, the EPL side has provided latest information on Tom Lockyer that he suffered 'cardiac arrest' on the field but was assisted by the medics quickly and is now out of danger.

Manchester United denied victory in added time, Chelsea and Tottenham take victories

Manchester City's stuttering title defence suffered another blow as Michael Olise's 95th-minute penalty rescued a dramatic point for Crystal Palace and the match ended in a draw.

The draw, City's third consecutive at home, leaves the defending champions in fourth place, three points behind leaders Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Chelsea scored twice in seven second-half minutes through Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson to claim a easy 2-0 win over the Premier League bottom club Sheffield United on Saturday.

At the City Ground, ten-man Tottenham demonstrated their aspirations to finish in the top four by sending Nottingham Forest to their fifth Premier League loss in six games.

The result moves fifth-placed Tottenham level on points with Manchester City, although the champions have played a game less.
