WTC final 2023 weather report, IND vs AUS: Will it rain at the Oval? Check out London weather forecast

While the outcome of a cricket match usually depends upon the pitch in many parts of the world, in England, the weather also plays a major role in dictating the result.

London is no different. Let's take a look at WTC final 2023 weather forecast for all 5 days and also the reserve day, if it gets activated.

DAY 1

While no rain has been predicted on the opening day, the MET department has predicted a mix of sun and clouds. The temperature will touch a maximum of 21 degrees Celsius. Fast bowlers are expected to get some purchase early on.

DAY 2

The cloud cover is expected to go up slightlly but the chances of rain are just 1% on Day 2.

DAY 3

The weather is likely to remain identical on the third day as well, with no rain predicted. since June marks the start of English summer, spinners are likely to get some help from the pitch, as it happened during a recent County game at the Oval.

DAY 4

According to accuweather.com, there is a 65% chance of rain on Day 4. A couple of showers and a thunderstorm is also predicted in the afternoon.

DAY 5

Light rain is expected to stay at the Oval on the final day as well but it should be a mix of sun and gloom. There’s a 65% chance of rain and 85% cloud cover.

RESERVE DAY

In case the daily requirement for the Test match are not met; 6 hours of game time and 90 overs, can’t be met for any of the 5 days due to weather, the reserve day will kick in. However, there's some rain predicted on Day 6 as well but it shouldn't interrupt the game to a large extent.
