The 2023 WPL Auction witnessed English and Australian players make a lot of money. All-rounders were in big demand even among the foreign stars.

Here are the biggest overseas buys from the WPL 2023 Auction:

Nat Sciver-Brunt (England) and Ashleigh Gardner (Australia) - Teams were going all out for England's Nat Sciver-Brunt and Australia's Ashleigh Gardner. The two stars became the joint biggest overseas buys in the auction at a whopping ₹3.20 crore to Mumbai Indians got Sciver and Gujarat Giants picked up Gardner.

Beth Mooney (Australia) - Australia's Mooney was expected to fetch big bucks at the auction and the batter was bought for ₹2 crore by Gujarat Giants which made her the 2nd biggest overseas buy in the auction.

Sophie Ecclestone (England) - The World No. 1 T20 bowler Ecclestone who was also expected to get ample amount of attention by the franchises was roped in by UP Warriorz for ₹1.80 crore, making her the 3rd biggest overseas buy of the auction.

Ellyse Perry (Australia) - Another Aussie all-rounder picked up a huge sum as Perry was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore at ₹1.70 crore.
