Australian women remain undefeated in their 2022 World Cup campaign as they beat India by 6 wickets to qualify for the semi-finals at Eden Park on Saturday.

Before recording their 5th straight win, Australia had a bumpy ride after a slight rain delay. The Australian women who were dominating at 225 for 2 earlier, lost Ellyse Perry after the game resumed. They lost Meg Lanning too, who scored a crucial 97 off 107 balls. Alyssa Healy had also contributed with 65 balls 72. However, India's late comeback did not help them as Beth Mooney's last four helped her team chase down their highest total in World Cups.

Earlier, Australia sent India to bat first and Yastika Bhatia, skipper Mithali Raj, and Harmanpreet Kaur put India in a strong position. After losing initial wickets quickly, Bhatia and Raj's 130 run stand and Harmanpreet's 47 balls 57 helped India post an imposing 278 run target on board.
