In an exciting turn of events, the stage is set for a thrilling finale in the Under 19 World Cup, where India is poised to battle Australia. This clash marks the third significant encounter between these two cricketing giants in the past one year, following their meetings in the World Test Championship final and the ODI World Cup summit clash. Now, the spotlight shifts to the Under 19 arena, where India seeks to overcome the Aussies in yet another high-stakes final.

The semi-final match against Pakistan showcased Australia's resilience, with the team clinching victory by a narrow margin of just one wicket. Australia's Tom Straker delivered an exceptional performance, taking a record 6 wickets for 24 runs, which played a pivotal role in dismissing Pakistan for 179 runs after they were sent in to bat first by Australian captain Hugh Weibgen.

The match reached a nail-biting conclusion as Pakistan secured the ninth Australian wicket, leaving Australia 16 runs short of the target.

However, the Australian duo of Raf MacMillan and Callum Vidler displayed remarkable composure under pressure. Their unbroken partnership guided Australia to victory in the dramatic final over, ensuring their spot in the final against India, the 5-time champions of the Under 19 World Cup. The eagerly anticipated final is scheduled for February 11, promising cricket fans around the world another epic showdown between India and Australia.
