T20 World cup 2021: Team India choke, New Zealand win by 8 wickets

Most experts pinned Team India as one of the top contenders to win the T20 World Cup 2021, but after just 2 games, Virat Kohli's team is now facing an uphill task of making it to the semifinal. New Zealand thrashed India by 8 wickets and handed them their 2nd consecutive loss.
Put into bat, Indian batters failed to impress yet again as The Men in Blue were restricted to mere 110/7. It's now the 2nd-lowest total after batting full 20 overs in a World T20 game.
The Kiwis had no problems chasing it down as Daryl Mitchell took them off to a perfect start with 49. Skipper Kane Williamson's unbeaten 33 helped New Zealand claim their first win of the tournament. With 2 wins in as many outings, India are also under Namibia in Group 2.
