Sanju Samson at receiving end of fans' anger after poor show in T20I series | IND vs WI

When Sanju Samson is not selected, fans bat for him to be picked in the Indian squad.

And when he is chosen, more often than not, he ends up letting fans down. This time around was nothing different.

In India's recently concluded 5-match T20I series against West Indies, Samson represented India as a wicketkeeper-batter in 3 matches, averaging a mere 10.67 in the series.

In the games he played, the 28-year-old managed to score just 32 runs.Despite the dismaying numbers, there was one positive takeaway for the Kerala batter on Sunday.

He joined the ranks of MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to complete 6000 runs in T20 cricket.

But on his disappointing performance, fans had a lot to say.

Sanju Samson's interview is still fresh in my mind, where he talked about scoring impactful runs for India rather than going after big numbers. But he hasn't managed to pull off either, not even once.
