Jhulan Goswami who began her career at the age of 19 in March 2002, has not played T20Is since 2018 and played her last Test match in October 2021.

Jhulan Goswami set to get 'proper farewell' at Lord's

Veteran fast bowler Jhulan Goswami will hang her boots after the 3rd ODI against England at Lord's, which will be played on September 24th.

The Indian cricket board, BCCI has decided to give the 39-year-old cricketer a 'proper farewell'. As per a top BCCI official, Jhulan could not say goodbye on the field earlier and the 3rd ODI between England and India will be her last.

Goswami who began her career at the age of 19 in March 2002, has not played T20Is since 2018 and played her last Test match in October 2021. She could not participate in July's Sri Lanka tour due to fitness concerns.

As per ESPNcricinfo, Goswami might play in women's IPL which will likely take place in March 2023.

With 352 wickets across formats, the veteran seamer will retire from the sport as the highest wicket-taker in women's internationals. She has represented India in 12 Tests, 201 ODIs, and 68 T20Is in her 20-year-long career.
