IPL 2024 auction: Delhi Capitals full squad, auction buys, remaining purse

Delhi Capitals received a major blow when Rishabh Pant met with a tragic accident last year and he missed the whole season due to injuries. DC named David Warner as their skipper last year in Rishabh Pant's absence but the team won only 5 out of 14 IPL games and finished in 9th spot.

This year, ahead of the IPL auction, DC released 11 players with big names like Manish Pandey, Sarfaraz Khan, Mustafizur Rahman and Phil Salt, all heading out. The franchise went to the auction table with INR 28.95 crore. With a need to address their lower middle-order issues, they signed players like Harry Brook and Tristan Stubbs. They also picked up young Indian talents such as Kumar Kushagra and Rasikh Dar.

Will DC be finally able to lift its maiden IPL trophy this year? We will have to wait and watch.
