Indian govt says there will be no cricketing ties with Pakistan

Amid the ongoing controversy over India's participation at the 2023 Asia Cup in Pakistan, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said there will be no cricketing ties between the two neighbouring countries.

Speaking to AajTak over the weekend, Jaishankar said that India will never accept a country that sponsors terror and it will continue, if we don't delegitimise it.

He also stated that there will be no pressure on Pakistan unless the victims of terror voiced their struggles and India should lead the way because our blood has been spilled.

There has also been a war of words between BCCI and PCB recently

First, in October, BCCI secretary Jay Shah said that India won't travel to host Pakistan for Asia Cup in 2023 and the tournament will be held at a neutral venue.

PCB chief Ramiz Raza retaliated, stating if India won't travel to Pakistan then they will also boycott 50-over World Cup in India next year.
