India and Pakistan can lock horns against each other 3 times in Asia Cup 2022, here's how

It's been 9 months since India's men's cricket team last played against Pakistan but fans may be in for a bonanza as the two sides might play against each other not once, not twice but thrice at the upcoming Asia Cup.

The Men in Blue resume their rivalry against the arch-rivals with the group A game on August 28. Since top 2 out of the 3 teams of this group go through to the Super 4s, it's more than likely that India and Pakistan will beat the 3rd qualifying side and will face off once again on September 4 in the next stage.

Apart from that, both sides will then take on 2 teams which will qualify from Group B, consisting of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. Since the top 2 teams from the Super 4 stage will directly play in the final, the possibility of India playing against Pakistan for the 3rd time in the tournament is high.
