IND vs WI: India beat West Indies by 44 runs to seal the ODI series

Team India continues to impress under Rohit Sharma as the hosts successfully defend a low total to win the 2nd ODI by 44 runs. Hence, India has now taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series.

Put into bat, India found themselves wanting at 43/3. But KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav put together a 91-run stand before Rahul fell for 49. Suryakuamar top-scored with 64 but West Indies still restricted India at 237/9. Chasing which, this visitors lost half their side with just 76 runs on the board. Though the lower order tried to fight back but it was short-lived. Prasidh Krishna impressed with figures of 4/12 in 9 overs as the Windies were bowled out for 193.

India has now won 11 consecutive ODI series vs the West Indies and has never lost a series against them since 2006.
