IND vs SA 2nd ODI: Rishabh Pant goes past Dhoni and Dravid to register a massive record

Rishabh Pant made history on Friday when he smashed a fiery 85 vs South Africa in the 2nd ODI. It's now the highest one day score by an Indian wicketkeeper in the Rainbow Nation.

The record was previously held by the current head coach Rahul Dravid, who had scored 77 in Durban back in 2001. MS Dhoni's highest score in an ODI in South Africa is 65, which he scored in 2013. Pant looked good for his maiden ODI hundred before he fell trying to hit Tabraiz Shamsi out of the park.

Interestingly, Pant also holds the record for being the only Asian wicketkeeper-batter to have scored a Tests hundred in South Africa. He had achieved the feat on the 3rd Test in Cape Town.
