IND vs AUS 2nd Test preview: Ashwin & Jadeja threat giving Australia nightmares ahead of Delhi Test

Once known as the mighty Aussies who fought till the very end, it seems that the current Australian team is a mere shadow of the dominant force they once used to be.

After handing the Aussies a defeat within 3 days in Nagpur, Team India would be eying to inflict further humiliation as they take on Australia in the 2nd Test in Delhi, starting Friday.

Team India hasn't lost a Test match in Delhi in 30 years and has won 2 and drawn 1 Test vs Australia during this period.

It's a happy hunting ground for local lad Virat Kohli as well, who is eager to find form in whites.

Virat has played 3 Tests in Delhi and has smashed 467 runs at a whopping average of over 77. His 2nd-best Test score of 243 also came at this venue in 2017.

However, India is still not taking the Kangaroos lightly.

Shreyas Iyer, who has been in top form in Tests, also returns to the squad and might get go-ahead in place of Suryakumar Yadav.

With history and momentum with India, the Aussies know that they are in a tough spot but are still hopeful of bouncing back in the series.

Moreover, it's not rocket science to say that the pitch in Delhi will favour the spinners and Australian skipper Pat Cummins has made peace with this fact.

'I think it's going to spin. That's kind of our expectations and that wicket matches that,' he stated.

Another victory here will not only give the hosts an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 4-match series but India will also retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
