South African broadcaster SuperSport has responded to Virat Kohli and a few other Team India members taking a dig at the host broadcaster for a DRS call which saved Dean Elgar during the 3rd Test.

It told news agency AFP that Hawk-Eye is an independent service provider, approved by the ICC and their technology has been accepted for many years as an integral part of DRS. SuperSport does not have any control over the Hawk-Eye technology.

After the match, Kohli had refused to make any comments about the incident and said that one moment seemed very nice and very exciting to make a controversy out of, which he was not interested in.
