"Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann led government is transforming government schools through the 'Punjab Sikhya Kranti' campaign by modernizing their infrastructure and making them contemporary", said Punjab Cabinet Minister Sh. Barinder Kumar Goyal after dedicating development projects worth Rs.1.41 crore in 9 government schools of Lehragaga constituency.

While addressing the gathering, the Cabinet Minister said that comprehensive efforts are being made at every level to make government education better under the Punjab Sikhya Kranti campaign. As a result, students' morale is improving and parents are confident that they've made the right choice in trusting government schools for their children's bright future.

Sh. Goyal said, "With the effective initiatives of Mann Government, students are now leaving private schools and preferring government institutions, which proves that the Punjab Government's education model is being widely appreciated."

The Punjab Government is sending its teachers to premier national and international training institutes to equip them with modern teaching techniques.

Sh. Barinder Kumar Goyal also highlighted various welfare schemes being implemented by the Mann Government for public welfare.
