Dr. Sukhwinder Sukhi assumes charge as chairperson of Punjab state container & warehousing corporation

Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian Congratulates Dr. Sukhi, Emphasizes Transparency and Efficiency

Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi, a two-time MLA from Banga and former president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), officially assumed charge as the Chairperson of Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation (Conware) on Wednesday. The ceremony took place at the Conware office in Sector 17, Chandigarh, in the presence of Punjab’s Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian.

Dr. Sukhi arrived at the Conware office accompanied by his family, including his sons, Dr. Sidhant Lochav and Dr. Nishant Lochav, along with a gathering of supporters. Expressing his gratitude to Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann for entrusting him with this responsibility, Dr. Sukhi pledged to fulfill his duties with utmost honesty, diligence, and sincerity. He further emphasized his commitment to ensuring transparency and efficiency in the corporation’s operations.

Congratulating Dr. Sukhi, Agriculture Minister S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian expressed confidence in his leadership, stating that under his stewardship, the corporation would achieve new milestones. The minister assured the state government’s unwavering support for all developmental initiatives aimed at strengthening the corporation’s operations.

The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished personalities, including Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Mr. Jai Kishan Rori, MLAs Mr. Nachhatar Pal, Mr. Kulwant Singh Pandori, and Mr. Manjit Singh Bilaspur. Others in attendance included Chairman of Improvement Trust SBS Nagar Satnam Singh Jalalpur and Jasvir Singh Garhi.

Vice Chairman of Conware Mr. Inderpreet Singh Sandhu, Managing Director Kanwalpreet Brar, and Dr. Sukhi’s family members, including Sarwan Singh, Dr. Jagmohan Puri, Nasib Chand, Sohan Lal Dhanda, Balbir Singh, Dr. Kulwinder Maan, Dr. Paramjit Maan, and Sukhvir Rana, were also present to extend their congratulations.
