Supreme Court today took strong note of the irregularities in the mayoral elections held on January 30. Today’s developments have exposed the BJP, which was involved in the rigging. When the Supreme Court asked Anil Masih about cancelling the ballot papers by using a pen, Anil Masih admitted that he had marked 8 ballot papers, commenting on which the Supreme Court said that the work you have done by sitting on the chair of the presiding officer during the mayor elections is not acceptable for which you should be prosecuted.

On this occasion, Chairman Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board and co-incharge AAP Chandigarh Dr. S.S. Ahluwalia said that the way the Supreme Court has once again made a strong comment regarding the murder of democracy by Anil Masih in the Chandigarh Mayor elections, it has become clear that the people of Chandigarh will soon get justice from the Supreme Court. He said that the Supreme Court has said that there will be no re-polling for the post of Mayor of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, the mayor will be declared by ignoring the marks made by Anil Masih with a pen on the votes cast on January 30 and by recounting votes.

Dr. Ahluwalia further said that today the Supreme Court was also informed by his lawyers that the councillors in Chandigarh are being threatened and stalked by the BJP. Supreme Court has further said that this is very dangerous for democracy, and that the Apex court will take action on this also.
