Amaravati/New Delhi, Jul 17 (PTI) Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu unveiled 'Towards Swarna (Golden) Andhra Pradesh@2047', an extensive plan for the state's economic growth, in New Delhi. This comprehensive report was developed by the Taskforce for Economic Development alongside the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to lay out a transformative vision aiming to make Andhra Pradesh India's leading state by 2047.

"By 2047, Andhra Pradesh will be the best state in India, meeting international standards, and we are determined to make it happen," Naidu confidently stated as he addressed prominent business leaders in the capital while presenting the blueprint on Thursday. With a target of achieving a GSDP of USD 2.4 trillion and logging exports worth USD 450 billion, the southern state has set several ambitious objectives.

Highlighting the strengths of Andhra Pradesh, the Chief Minister noted the state's dynamic human resources, fertile agricultural land rich in horticulture, aquaculture, and commercial crops. Naidu mentioned the strategic advantage of the state's long coastline on the East Coast, where there are plans to construct a port every 50 kilometers, alongside large-scale airport developments and a vision for an advanced road network.

Positioned as the logistics hub for India in the future, Naidu emphasized the ongoing enhancement of human capital through skill development and collaborations with top global and national institutions in Amaravati. By January 2026, Andhra Pradesh aims to launch quantum computing in partnership with IBM, TCS, and L&T.

Drawing parallels to Silicon Valley in the USA, Naidu announced the development of a 'Quantum Valley' in Amaravati, along with other forward-thinking initiatives. Offering unconditional support to businesses, the TDP leader reassured, "The day you join us, your project becomes our project."

Expressing strong faith in India's capability for global leadership, Naidu asserted, "Trust us, we will deliver. Give us a problem, we'll solve it."
