You never know when fate's game will turn around in your life. Once a struggler, Chandrika Gera Dixit, also known as the 'Vada Pav Girl', now owns a Mustang and is very popular on social media. She runs a roadside stall of 'vada pav' in the Sainik Vihar area of New Delhi, captivating a large crowd after her videos started going viral.

'Vada pav girl' debuts in a music video

The vada pav girl made headlines after debuting in the song 'Darji' by Amandeep Singh. Chandrika looks stunning in the video, and netizens are applauding the song with 977k views and counting.

Earlier, Chandrika used to work at a Haldiram store but left after her son fell ill with dengue fever. Her husband also faces challenges with irregular work hours at Rapido, but Chandrika's love for cooking motivated her to embark on the food cart venture.

Despite her increasing fame, Dixit has faced controversies. In a widely circulated video from March, she was seen in tears, alleging pressure from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to close her food cart. She started paying approximately Rs 35,000 to officials but continued to face demands for more money. Dixit highlighted the presence of numerous unauthorized food carts in Delhi.
