‘Mirzapur Season 3’: Ali Fazal aka Guddu Bhaiya teases fans in a new video, talks about show release date

‘Mirzapur’ is one of the most loved Indian shows on the OTT. As fans wait with bated breath for the third season, actor Ali Fazal has teased the release date with a new video. While the suspense continues, Fazal aka Guddu bhaiya has invited the fans for a special ‘peshi’.

‘Mirzapur Season 3’ When?

While there was anticipation that the show would premiere in June, some reports suggested that there might be a delay in the release. According to the reports, the hit series will premiere in July 2024, however, the makers are yet to confirm the same.

On June 8, Ali Fazal took to Instagram to stir excitement among the series fans. In the video, Ali Fazal, who plays Guddu bhaiya, is seen seated on a chair. He talks about ‘date’, acknowledging the fans’ curiosity about the release date. “You came to find the date, right? You’ll get the date,” he says before continuing, “These clever folks behind the scenes, they will first feed you, then take you around, and then make you suffer. Then in a few days, there will be a hearing. There, we will have a face-to-face conversation... then the ruckus will begin.” The caption of the video shared by Fazal and show’s official Instagram handle read, “Aa rahein hai na peshi mein, date pata lagane? (Are you coming to the hearing to find out the date?”

Netizens and fans rushed to the comment section to express their excitement over the show. While some fans were happy to see an update on the show, some were also frustrated due to the delays.

The massive build-up and anticipated has raised the expectations of viewers by manifolds. The show which made its debut in 2018, created a phenomenon by introducing the audience to a dark world of power, crime and politics. The second season built on the hype and critical acclaim. Four years after the release of Season 2, fans are now eagerly waiting for Season 3.
