Sanjay Leela Bhansali's debut web series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ has become the most-watched Indian series on the streaming platform Netflix. While the show has sparked mixed reviews, fans can't stop discussing its grandeur, stunning visuals, stellar performances, and more. Adding to its acclaim, the show has now received a stamp of approval from Amul India in a new creative.

Amul India captioned the post, ‘Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama series impresses audiences…’

The image shows the female cast of the series- Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Sheikh. The ladies are seen enjoying bread and butter together.

Responding to the creative, Netflix's official handle cheekily commented, ‘Heeramandi dekhne main dairy mat karo,’ playing on the word ‘late’ to imply, ‘Don't wait to watch Heeramandi.’

Sonakshi Sinha and Manisha Koirala also shared the creative on their Instagram stories.

About ‘Heeramandi’

Set against the backdrop of the Indian independence movement, the Netflix series spans the years between 1920 and 1940. This larger-than-life series depicts the clash between the courtesans of Lahore's red-light district, Heera Mandi, and the British Raj officials.

‘Heeramandi’ has reportedly become the most-viewed Indian series on Netflix, trending in the Top 10 chart across 43 countries. It currently holds the second position on the Non-English TV List. The show has garnered 4.5 million views, accumulating 33 million viewership hours.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali expressed his gratitude, stating, ‘Heeramandi has been a labor of love, and I thank everyone who has worked on the show. I’m delighted to have collaborated with Netflix on my very first series, and I am humbled by the love and appreciation we are receiving from audiences in India and globally.’
