Disney+ Hotstar releases first teaser of 'Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story'

Disney+ Hotstar has released the first teaser of Neeraj Pandey's show 'Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story'.

Actor Kay Kay Menon is back as RAW agent Himmat Singh in the upcoming thriller series and the action-packed teaser has fans thrilled.

Taking from events of 2002, 'Special Ops 1.5' focuses on Himmat Singh's origin story, telling fans how be became a RAW agent. The show takes a deep dive into his technique, i.e how he tracks masterminds involved in terror attacks.

Disney+ Hotstar shared the brand new teaser on Instagram along with the caption, "Himmat Singh is back! And this time we're going back in time with him. Stay tuned for #HotstarSpecials #SpecialOps1.5".

'Special Ops 1.5' is slated to release in October. The new series not a sequel, it starts with a brand new story where Kay Kay Menon's character has been assigned a new role.

Aftab Shivdasani, Aadil Khan will also be joining the show, alongside Gautami Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Parmeet Sethi and KP Mukherjee.
