Contrary to the popular belief, R Madhavan did not make his debut with a TV serial. Before that, he did a TVC for a sandalwood talcum powder in 1996, which was directed by Santosh Sivan. Seeing his dedication to his craft, Sivan recommended him to the ace film-maker Mani Ratnam for a screen test in the Tamil film &lsquo;Iruvar,&rsquo; who rejected him at that time because 'his eyes looked young.'

Kratika Sengar of 'Choti Sarrdaarni' fame and Nikitin Dheer have welcomed a baby girl. The newly-turned parents have announced the news of their pregnancy last year.
In an interview with India Today, Kratika revealed that they are expecting a new member in their family. She said, "The room is ready, bags packed, parents have flown down to Mumbai, we are all ready to welcome the new member in the family."

The reality show, hosted by <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/tv/kangana-ranaut-on-the-success-of-lock-upp-and-ekta-kapoor-exclusive-vaibhavi-v-risbood-1648983146781" target="_blank">Kangana Ranaut</a>, is being broadcasted on ALTBalaji and MXPlayer. In tune with its captivating format, the show put celebrity contestants to the test in a jail-like atmosphere, where they competed for even the most basic necessities. Ekta Kapoor produced the 70-day series, which will air its grand finale on Saturday (May 7).
Ever since the show started, we have seen the contestants make some shocking and controversial revelations. While 'Lock Upp' kicked off with 20 contestants, the final episode will see 6 contestants vying for the grand prize. The six finalists are Prince Narula, Shivam Sharma, Munawar Faruqui, Anjali Arora, Payal Rohatgi and Azma Fallah.
While the prize money is yet to be revealed by the show&rsquo;s makers, reports say it might range from ₹5 lakh to ₹25 lakh. The winner is also expected to get other sponsored goodies in addition to the trophy and the prize money.
The grand finale of 'Lock Upp' will be streamed on ALTBalaji and MXPlayer on Saturday (May 7) at 10.30pm. The show's finalists and the former (eliminated) contestants will give special performances to keep the audience entertained.
For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut made her hosting debut on television with &lsquo;Lock Upp&rsquo;. This was followed by the &lsquo;Bigg Boss&rsquo; fame Karan Kundrra joining the show as a &lsquo;jailor&rsquo;.

It feels miraculous, it feels amazing, it feels like a dream, it feels like a blessing. I am very blessed to be able to live my dream every single day of my life. I am so, so thankful.
 You have done fiction TV, reality TV, web shows and anchoring. What do you enjoy the most? In all honesty, I love, love, love being an actor every single day of my life. That's what I love the most.  
OTT has changed many things for the audience. How do you see it as a platform?  I think it is a huge space which is yet to be filled with so much more amazing content. I think it is a great opportunity for a lot of makers, actors, artists, you know, from all sectors to sort of come in and collaborate and make magic happen because a) it has got so much more freedom than any other platform, any other medium as of now.  
You have recently worked on 'Arranged,' which was based on the modern outlook for arranged marriages. Tell us something about it. How much did you enjoy? It was a lovely film. It was with Tridha Choudhury. She's opposite me and it is an urban take on the ancient arranged marriages and I think it is a beautiful take because even in times like today something like this can happen. where two individuals with their extremely individualistic approaches can come together and make a union happen. What is your opinion on arrange marriages? Marriages in general.  
I'm not really an arranged marriage type of guy. I feel I want to know my partner. I want to be able to understand the person better before I actually commit to a marriage. It is life-long process for me and I don't believe that if things are broken you just let them go. I am not one of those guys. So ya, I do believe in arrange marriage set up but with the script that I have worked on currently, if something like that actually happens, I think it's beautiful. People can still find their right partners and matches in an arranged marriage set up if you want to.  
Tell us something about your podcast 'Buri Nazar,' it is an Amazon audible podcast. It is one of the best podcasts of 2021 and 2022. I can't believe it was my first time working with Supriya Pathak. Actually, it was my second time. I worked on Cartel with her first. It was simultaneously basically. Both of them were happening simultaneously. You know the idea of being in a little studio and then you give just your voice to a story and let the world imagine what must be happening in that particular room, in that particular scene. I think 1) It is very difficult but it is so exciting. It is so liberating. It is because you can do anything you want to but within that confined space, I think you like it is a challenge but a wonderful one.  
Rithvik, what's next for you? What's coming up? Any TV serial?  I am currently working on two projects. One of them is a thriller, another one is a fantasy and that's what you are going to see me on next and it's on two different platforms. I am hoping that you like that too.

My heart goes thank you. So, I guess winning an award was just something. It's really not the award but more than the award it's a ton of things like my work is being appreciated. A case has been registered against actor Karanvir Bohra and five others at Mumbai's Oshiwara Police Station for allegedly duping a 40-year-old woman of ₹1.99 crore. According to a tweet by news agency ANI, the Oshiwara Police said that Karan had promised the woman that the total amount would be returned at 2.5 % interest but only an amount of over ₹1 crore was given back. Another tweet by ANI said that the woman reportedly claimed she didn't get a proper response from the actor and his wife Tajinder Sidhu and they threatened to shoot her. 
Police have started the investigation in the case and are likely to record Karan and Tajinder's statements soon. 
Manoj Bohra, who is popularly known by his stage name Karanvir, has been a part of several reality shows like 'Lock Upp,' 'Nach Baliye 4,' 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6,' 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 5' and 'Bigg Boss 12.'
On the show 'Lock Upp,' Karanvir mentioned that he has been unable to clear 3-4 debts and that his career wasn't going great for the last seven years. He said since 2015 he took up whatever work he was offered just to return the money and pay back his debts.
