In a promo of 'The Big Picture', Ranveer Singh calls himself 'husband of the century'

Actor Ranveer Singh is all set to make his TV debut with quiz show 'The Big Picture' on Colors on October 16. Ahead of the show, Colours shared a promo video, where the 'Ram Leela' actor was quizzed about his photos with wife and actor Deepika Padukone on Instagram, where the couple were seen outside a temple.

Responding to the fan, Ranveer joked about getting a slap from Deepika if he failed to give the right answer. He later called himself, 'husband of the century' when he got the name of the temple right!

Ranveer explained that the photo was clicked on his first wedding anniversary with Deepika, when they decided to do something special.

"Basically, Deepika and I thought we should do something special on our first anniversary. As you know, our life is similar to 2 States (Chetan Bhagat's novel). Her family is from Bengaluru, mine is from Mumbai. So we thought since it's our first anniversary, why don't we visit both places. We went to Golden Temple in Amritsar but before that, we visited the temple seen in the picture, which is Tirupati temple," said Ranveer.

Ranveer Singh & Deepika Padukone will be sharing the screen in upcoming film '83', which is based on India's victory at the 1983 World Cup. Ranveer will be essaying the role of skipper Kapil Dev, while Deepika will be playing the role of Kapil's wife, Romi Bhatia. The film is slated to release on December 24, 2021.
