'Bigg Boss 15' winner: Tejasswi Prakash lifts trophy, gets ₹40 lakh cash prize

After months of staying inside the 'Bigg Boss' house, Tejasswi Prakash has been announced as the winner of the 15th season of the reality show.

Known for starring on 'Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur', Tejasswi took home the coveted Bigg Boss trophy along with ₹ 40 Lakh cash prize.

Pratik Sehajpal was the first runner up, while Tejasswi's actor-boyfriend Karan Kundrra was third.

Actor Shamita Shetty finished fourth while choreographer Nishant Bhat opted out of the finale race and took home ₹ 10 Lakh, finishing on the fifth spot.

Talking about her victory, Tejasswi Prakash said, 'When I entered the Bigg Boss house, everything seemed like a dream in the beginning. But as I started to settle in and understand the game, I was completely immersed in it and today when I look back, what an incredible journey it has been. My deepest gratitude to everyone who has believed in me. I want to thank Salman sir for his rock-solid support, COLORS team, and all my incredible fans out there who rooted for me and made this journey a memorable one'.

The grand finale saw Bollywood star Deepika Padukone promote her upcoming film ‘Gehraiyaan’ along with co-stars Ananya Pandey, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa.

The finale was also attended by former Bigg Boss winners including Gauahar Khan, Urvashi Dholakia, Gautam Gulati, Rubina Dilaik and Shweta Tiwari.
