‘Don’ (Tamil)

Starring Sivakarthikeyan, S. J. Suryah, Samuthirakani, Priyanka Arul Mohan and Soori, ‘Don’ has bagged a spot in the Top 10 global non-English films list and also in the Top 10 in 9 countries. The deadly combo of actor Sivakarthikeyan and director Cibi Chakravarthi has been immensely loved by everyone. The film’s story revolves around a stentorian father and his wastrel son Chakaravarthi, who lacks ambition in his life. At the same time, he faces an equally hostile professor in college and how this idler son/student turns a bright leaf is what forms the rest of the film.

‘CBI 5: The Brain’ (Malayalam)

The film stars the superstar Mammootty alongwith Mukesh Jagathy Sreekumar, Saikumar and Renji Panicker. The film ranks 1st among the Top 10 global non-English films list and also in the Top 10 in 6 countries. The film is about a series of bucket-killing murders which are taking place throughout the city. A team of CBI officials led by CBI officer Sethurama Iyer takes over the case, after the police fail to unravel the mystery.

‘Jana Gana Mana’ (Malayalam)

The film’s plot revolves around the suspected murder of the professor a strong and socially responsible college professor Saba Mariyam from the Central University in Ramanagara and the accompanying protests by college students seeking justice for the deceased professor. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran alongwith Suraj Venjaramoodu Pasupathi Raj, G. M. Sundar and Mamta Mohandas.

‘Beast’ (Tamil)

This much talked about blockbuster film stars superstar Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the lead. The film’s narrative is definitely bound to captivate you as it follows the lives of a cynical former intelligence agent who is pulled back into duty when a tense hostage situation unfolds at a mall.

‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ (Tamil)

What happens when he decides to take on a gang that traps and sexually assaults innocent women while filming the act is what forms the rest of the film.
