Film Producer reveals release plans of film

Producer SS Lalit Kumar held a Live X Spaces session after the trailer launch and shared some updates regarding the promotional event and release plans of the film. During the session, Kumar shared that the film won’t release in Hindi language at the national multiplexes chain, the PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis cinemas. These cineplexes demand that film should release after eight weeks of release on OTT but because like the other South Indian films, ‘Leo’ will release on OTT withing 4 weeks of its release, so the decision was taken.

DNA stated that a report says that Netflix has paid a sum of Rs 120 crore for the streaming of Vijay Thalapathy starrer. The film will be releasing in more than 2000 single screens in its Hindi dubbed version in North India.

In the trailer, Vijay Thalapthy, who is seen in his younger and older avatar in the trailer, seems to be on a revenge mission. Sanjay Dutt is also seen playing a villain towards the end of the trailer.

'Leo' marks the second collaboration of Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay. It is co-produced by SS Lalit Kumar's Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palanisamy. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film has been shot in Chennai and Kashmir, among other locations.
