Vijay Deverakonda has announced a new film. The actor is teaming up with producer Dil Raju for his next venture. Touted as a high-octane action drama, the yet-to-be-titled film will be directed by Ravi Kiran Kola. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Ravi posted a picture with Vijay as he announced the exciting project.

Ravi teams up with Vijay

Vijay Deverakonda will next feature in Ravi Kiran Kola's film. This will mark the first collaboration between the actor-director duo. More details such as the plot, rest of the cast and shoot schedule of the action drama have been kept under wraps.

Giving a sneak peek into the new project, Ravi took to X to drop a new picture with Vijay and producer Dil Raju. The caption read, "It’s time for our vicious dynamite to be lit. It’s time now, to make our vision a reality. @TheDevarakonda *fire and hug face emojis). Let’s wreck havoc, you and I. @SVC_official #DilRaju garu #Sirish garu.#SVC59. Together we WILL deliver a promising film. See you on 9th. Until next time."

Vijay's recent film

Vijay was last featured in 'The Family Star' alongside Mrunal Thakur. The film, which hit the theatres at first, is now streaming on Prime Video. Directed by Parasuram Petla, the romance drama was produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Talking about the film, Vijay told news agency ANI, “Playing Govardhan in The Family Star was a deeply rewarding experience. He is your ideal yet real hero, someone who shoulders the responsibility of his entire family without complaining or seeking recognition for the personal sacrifices he makes.”
