Sharing the poster of the forthcoming film, Vijay wrote, ‘'The Legend of the Cursed Land'. Rahul Sankrityan X Vijay Deverakonda @MythriOfficial’.

The upcoming historical film is described as an intense drama set in the Rayalaseema region and will be the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and director Rahul Sankrityan. Their previous project together was the successful horror comedy ‘Taxiwala.’

There are also speculations that Rashmika Mandanna might play the lead role, reuniting with Vijay after ‘Dear Comrade.’ However, there has been no official confirmation regarding her involvement in the film.

    About ‘SVC59’

Vijay Deverakonda provided an update on his upcoming film with director Ravi Kiran Kola, tentatively titled ‘SVC59’. Teaming up with producer Dil Raju once more, the movie is a rural action drama showcasing the actor in a unique role.

    Vijay Deverakonda’s work front

Vijay Deverakonda's latest film was ‘The Family Star,’ directed by Parasuram Petla. Despite being their reunion since ‘Geetha Govindam,’ the movie received negative reviews and failed at the box office.

The film also marked Mrunal Thakur's first collaboration with Vijay, alongside an ensemble cast including Jagapathi Babu, Vennela Kishore, Ravi Prakash, Raja Chembolu, Rohini Hattangadi, and Divyansha Kaushik.

Vijay is also set to star in the tentatively titled ‘VD12,’ directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri of ‘Jersey’ fame. The film, speculated to be a spy action thriller, is rumoured to feature no musical tracks aside from background scores and themes.
