A day before Vijay Thalapathy’s 48th birthday, the title and the first-look poster of his forthcoming film was unveiled on Tuesday. The actor took to Twitter to make the announcement. The film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, which was tentatively called ‘Thalapathy 66,’ has now been titled ‘Varisu.’

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan will tie the knot in Sheraton Grand, Mahabalipuram on the auspicious occasion of Ganga Dussehra. However, they initially decided to get married at the Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh.
The ace director has confirmed the news with the media and said that they will be sharing the pictures with their fans soon after their wedding. "On June 9, I am getting married to the love of my life, Nayanthara. After the marriage, in the afternoon, we will share our pictures with you all." Shivan said.

According to a report in Times of India, the actor suffered from heart problems during the pandemic and he’s planning to take a break from his acting career.

The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran alongwith Suraj Venjaramoodu Pasupathi Raj, G. M. Sundar and Mamta Mohandas.
