‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’, starring Prabhas and Shruti Hassan, was scheduled to hit the theatres on September 28, but now, Homable Films, the production company behind the film, has released an official statement announcing the delay in the release.

They said this only because they want to ‘meet the high standards’ and deliver an ‘exceptional cinematic experience’.

The statement read, ‘We deeply appreciate your unwavering support for #Salaar. With consideration, we must delay the original September 28 release due to unforeseen circumstances. Please understand this decision is made with care, as we’re committed to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience. Our team is working tirelessly to meet the highest standards.’

The new release date of the movie is yet to be announced.

‘The new release date will be revealed in due course. Stay with us as we make the final touches on #SalaarCeaseFire and thank you for being a part of this incredible journey,’ Homable Films added.

‘Salaar’, the pan-India action thriller, has been directed by Prashanth Neel of ‘KGF’ fame. The film marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam star Prithviraj, who plays a villain. Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy also star in the movie.

After ‘Salaar’, Prabhas will return to big screens with ‘Project K’ co-starring Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.
