Sai Dharam Tej condemns YouTuber's 'gruesome' joke on child, demands action: ‘Monsters like these…’

Sai Dharam Tej recently reacted to a YouTuber's joke about a child. The Telugu actor took to social media to request Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan to take stern action to ensure child safety. Sai highlighted inappropriate sexual references in a YouTube video featuring a father and daughter.

Sharing the video, Sai wrote, ‘This is beyond gruesome, disgusting and scary. Monsters like these go unnoticed on the very much utilised social platform doing child abuse in the disguise of so-called Fun & Dank. Child Safety is the need of the hour. (folded hands emoji) I sincerely request Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana @revanth_anumala & Deputy CM @Bhatti_Mallu Garu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh @ncbn Garu & Deputy CM @PawanKalyan Garu & @naralokesh Garu to take necessary action to curb horrific acts like this in the future.’

In another message, the actor urged parents to be cautious about sharing videos or pictures of their kids online, warning that social media can be risky. He advised everyone to stay vigilant and added, ‘To those who have stooped to such a low standard, I hope you never experience the turmoil of a parent due to your hurtful comments.’

The YouTuber apologized and removed the problematic part from the video. He wrote, ‘I edited out the problematic part from the video. I am unconditionally and unambiguously apologetic about the lapse in judgment. As a creator, my attempt is always to bring a smile. Unfortunately, this time I crossed the line between what is dark and what is distasteful.’

The Telangana State Cyber Security Bureau registered a First Information Report (FIR) against a YouTuber for making inappropriate comments about a child during a chat session. Director General of Police Ravi Gupta stated that the FIR was filed after Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka promised action following actor Sai Dharam Tej's report of online child abuse due to the YouTuber's disgusting remark. The police are currently working to identify those involved.
