Rishab Shetty denies targeting Rashmika Mandanna; here's what he said

Rishab Shetty’s remark at the IFFI 2023 press conference wasn’t received well by many fans who thought it was a dig at Rashmika Mandanna. And when an X user pointed out the same in a tweet, the fan faced severe backlash for misconstruing Rishab’s statement.

At the conference, Rishab said that he didn’t want to be the person who leaves the Kannada film industry after giving one hit.

The fan had to later correct himself and he also shared his apologies. Rishab reshared the tweet and wrote, “No problem, ☺️ finally someone understood what I really meant to say.”

For the unversed, there have been rumours that a feud is going on between Rashmika and Rishab. After her engagement with Rakshit Shetty was called off, she transcended Kannada borders in her acting career.

Rishab is currently working on Kantara 2, the prequel to the first part while Rashmika’s ‘Animal’ with Ranbir Kapoor released on December 1. The film is has received good word on Twitter.
