Rashmika Mandanna to play college student in ‘The Girlfriend’? Makers release poster on actor’s birthday

Rashmika Mandanna has more than one reason to celebrate. The actor who turns 28 today will be seen in ‘The Girlfriend’ and her fans are in for a treat. Making her day more special, makers of her upcoming film have unveiled the first official posters of the actor from the film.

Introducing Rashmika’s character in the film, Geetha Arts, the production company behind the film, shared two posters featuring the actor. Rashmika will likely play the role of a college student as it appears from the posters. The caption of the post read, “Her eyes smile before she does. And they speak the words that she won't. Rashmika Mandanna is celebrating her birthday in UAE. Some news reports suggest that her rumoured boyfriend Vijay Deverakonda, whose film ‘Family Star’ is releasing today, has also joined her for the celebration. The actor also shared a sneak peek into her birthday celebrations with her fans on social media. In the pictures the actor is seen basking in sun and enjoying her day with a cup of coffee.

Besides ‘The Girlfriend’, Rashmika Mandanna will soon be seen in ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, where she will reprise her role as Srivalli opposite Allu Arjun. She also has ‘Kubera’ with Dhanush, ‘Chhava’ with Vicky Kaushal and ‘Rainbow’ in the pipeline.
