Prabhas starrer 'Project K' is now titled 'Kalki 2898 AD'; watch the first glimpse

The official title of Prabhas' upcoming sci-fi film has been unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con. 'Project K' is now titled 'Kalki 2898 AD'.

An intriguing first glimpse video was also released which shows a dark and destructive world that is set in the future.

Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas feature in a futuristic world as warriors in a war-like situation.

At the event, the team of 'Project K' unveiled the film's title, teaser, and release date.

The movie is expected to be released early next year.

Previously, the first look of Prabhas was released which left the netizens unimpressed. Later, it was removed and replaced with a newer one.

Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Rana Daggubati were present at the event, but Deepika Padukone was not a part of the event, owing to the ongoing strike by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA) in the US. The actor is a member of SAG-AFTRA.

Several photos of Prabhas, Kamal Haasan. and Rana chilling together in the US surfaced online as they reached the US before the event.

'Project K' is the first-ever Indian film to debut at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2023.

The forthcoming movie is helmed by Nag Ashwin. The film is a multi-lingual sci-fi film produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.
