Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD' mints Rs 298.5 cr globally in 2 days; Rajinikanth calls Prabhas' film 'epic'

Nag Ashwin's 3D spectacle 'Kalki 2898 AD' has taken the global box office by storm. However, the sci-fi epic saw a major drop despite an exciting opening at the ticket window. The film features a star cast led by Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, along with Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee and Shobhana. From critics to fans, the visual spectacle has left an indelible mark, and the latest to be bowled over by the film is Rajinikanth.

'Kalki 2898 AD' box office collection

The team of 'Kalki 2898 AD' shared a poster on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the film made more than ₹298.5 crore gross worldwide at the box office in all languages in two days. On the opening day, the movie earned Rs 191.5 in gross box office collection (GBOC) and collected Rs 107 crore on Friday. Rajikanth lauds Prabhas' film
