Megastar Chiranjeevi felicitated by Telangana CM after Padma Vibhushan honour: 'Huge encouragement'

Megastar Chiranjeevi was conferred with the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award in January. After receiving the second-highest civilian honour, the actor, on February 4, was felicitated by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Chiranjeevi was felicitated by Telangana CM Revanth Reddy on Sunday after the actor was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan award last month. Several pics and videos from the award ceremony have now taken over social media.

In his speech, Chiranjeevi expressed his gratitude, saying while receiving the Padma Vibhushan award was a significant honour, he found greater joy after witnessing his fans' love and support after the ceremony. Noting the importance of the prestigious award, the megastar said that he felt immense satisfaction from the outpouring of love and encouragement from the cinema industry, various organisations, associations, and politicians.

Megastar expresses 'hearty thanks'

After the felicitation, Chiranjeevi extended his heartfelt gratitude to Revanth Reddy and the Telangana government. Taking to X, he wrote, “My hearty thanks to the Govt of Telangana, Hon’ble Chief Minister @revanth_anumula garu, Dy. CM Shri @Bhatti_Mallu Garu & Hon’ble ministers for warmly felicitating me along with Shri @MVenkaiahNaidu Garu and all the wonderful ‘Padma’ Awardees this morning. This sets a great precedent and serves as an acknowledgement and huge encouragement for the Padma Awardees from Telugu states. @TelanganaCMO (sic).”
