Recalling that this was the last film his father, Yash Johar, was a part of from the Dharma family, Karan wrote that he rewatches it even today.
&lsquo;This film has been such an emotional journey for me and perhaps for all of us, if I have gathered over the many years. To bring such a stellar starcast together with a story that has a beating heart&hellip;it&rsquo;s all kudos to the entire cast and team behind the camera for making Kal Ho Naa Ho still beat strong and within everyone&rsquo;s hearts. For me, this was the last film that my father was a part of from the Dharma family&hellip;and it feels surreal to have his presence in every frame as I rewatch it even till today. For the unversed, Karan Johar had originally wanted to cast Kareena Kapoor in Naina&rsquo;s role but it later went to Preity Zinta.

A source close to the development informed Pinkvilla that Salman is all set to start shooting for the Vishnuvardhan directorial in February 2024.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film &lsquo;Dunki&rsquo;, made a surprise appearance at a dubbing studio in Bandra, Mumbai, on November 27. He was accompanied by director Rajkumar Hirani.
As SRK stepped out of the studio, his team of security tried to shield him with umbrellas. A huge crowd gathered outside the dubbing studio to take his pictures. However, SRK did not stop to pose for the cameras.
For the outing, King Khan wore a casual black outfit.
Shah Rukh Khan recently paid his respects to the unsung heroes of the 26/11 attacks at the Gateway of India in Mumbai. A Global Peace Award was organised on November 26 to honour the martyrs who lost their lives in this incident.

Professionally, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen next in 'Dunki', an upcoming comedy-drama film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, who co-wrote the screenplay with Abhijat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon.

Speaking with The Indian Express, Meghna said the conversation shifted from acid violence to somewhere else, impacting the film.
Meghna Gulzar shared, &lsquo;I am sure that the answer is pretty obvious. Yes, of course, it made a dent on the film. Because the conversation went from acid violence, which I intended the film to amplify, to somewhere else. So, of course it impacted the film. There is no denying that.&rsquo;
&lsquo;Chhapaak&rsquo; narrates the real-life journey of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal through Malti's character (played by Deepika). The film delves into her fight for justice post an acid attack perpetrated by a man due to her rejection of his proposal.
In 2020, Deepika Padukone surprised many by visiting JNU, where student leaders were addressing a gathering to condemn an attack on the university's students by masked individuals. She stood in solidarity with the students at the Sabarmati T-point during a public meeting called by JNU alumni. Although she didn't speak at the meeting, she stayed for about an hour before leaving.

The 54th International Film Festival of India concluded in Goa on November 28, with Endless Borders clinching the Best Film Award and Panchayat Season 2 securing the Best Web Series Award at the closing ceremony. Rishab Shetty received the Special Jury Award for Kantara, while Hollywood icon Michael Douglas was honored with the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award.
270 international and Indian films, including 25 feature film and 20 non-feature film were screened at the festival.
During the festival's closing ceremony, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana jointly presented the 2023 Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award to Hollywood icon Michael Douglas.
In his acceptance speech, Michael remembered the work of Satyajit Ray and said, &lsquo;I would like to share this honour with PM Narendra Modi, the honourable Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur. It&rsquo;s an honour to receive Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award. I am humbled to join a prestigious group of past award recipients. Ray personified what it means to be a world class filmmaker.&rsquo;
He added, &lsquo;His films not only represent the triumph of the Indian film industry but the potential of the cross-cultural artistic expression. With every think going on in the world today, this festival reminds us the magic of movie making. When you have been in the industry as long as I have, it becomes clear that cinema is one of the few mediums that has the power to unite and transform us. It reveals our true humanity. Today our global language of cinema is more meaningful than ever.&rsquo;
After his speech, Ayushmann asked Michael if he has watched any Indian films. The actor responded by saying, &lsquo;I have watched RRR. Om Shanti Om is played in our house over and over again. Lunchbox is one of our favourites. I am also fortunate to have seen Satyajit Ray&rsquo;s work in college.&rsquo;
Catherine Zeta Jones was also honoured at the closing ceremony of the festival.

I was constantly saying it, &lsquo;You are not what I want you to be&rsquo;. And therefore, I was constantly falling sick. I started working with a healer 12 years ago and I realised that you are abusing the very thing that&rsquo;s keeping you alive.&rdquo;&nbsp; She added, &ldquo;It has been a gamechanger since then, because today, however I wake up in the morning, I feel good about myself, and on days I don&rsquo;t, I then tell myself, &lsquo;It&rsquo;s okay, tomorrow will be a new day. Let me live with what I am feeling today&rsquo;. Sometimes, your body also expresses your emotions whether you feel tired, angry, jealous, grateful, hurt, tearful or whatever, but that doesn&rsquo;t make you smaller. I had started to feel small in my bigness, and that&rsquo;s ridiculous. It was almost like I was cowering.&rdquo;&nbsp;

This makes advance ticket sales worth ₹9.75 crore across all theatres and languages in India.&nbsp; The Telugu version of 'Animal' has done a business of Rs 91.48 lakh and sold 58,465 tickets for 643 shows, so far, for day 1. The film has sold 779 tickets across 41 shows for the Tamil version and 1504 tickets for its Kannada version in 16 shows.&nbsp; Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The film will clash with Vicky Kaushal starrer &lsquo;Sam Bahadur&rsquo;. The war drama directed by Meghna Gulzar, is a biopic on India's first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in important roles.
