Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' earns over ₹150-crore worldwide in its opening weekend

'Vikram,' starring Kamal Haasan, has had fabulous start at the box office. As per trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the film successfully entered the ₹150-crore club worldwide within three days of its release. He added that the film debuted at number 3 at the worldwide box office with 'Top Gun: Maverick' and 'Jurassic World Dominion' ranking at first and second respectively.

According to Ramesh Bala, 'Vikram' is also the highest grossing Tamil film post pandemic in Kerala.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also stated that the film scored big in international markets.

The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, also stars Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles.

The filmmaker took to Twitter on Sunday over the overwhelming response his movie has received and said that he hasn’t been this emotional ever.

'I don’t know how I’m gonna repay you guys for all this love. Ever grateful to @ikamalhaasan sir and my amazing people. So moved. Love you all (sic),' Lokesh tweeted.

Kamal reacted to his tweet and said the only way to repay a loving audience is by not getting complacent.
