EXCLUSIVE: Prabhas-Pooja Hegde's upcoming film Radhe Shyam’s digital rights sold for 250 crore?

Prabhas and Pooja Hegde-starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’, which has been under production for almost three years, is finally releasing in theatres.

Now, a source close to the film informed us that Radhe Shyam’s satellite and digital rights for all languages have been sold for Rs 250 crore, making it the second biggest deal in Indian cinema.

According to reports, the digital and satellite rights of 'RRR' were acquired by Zee Networks for approximately Rs 325 crore, making it the biggest post-release deal of all time.

The name of the streaming giant to win the bid has not been revealed yet. We have reached out to the team of Radhe Shaym and are awaiting confirmation and further details.

Earlier, several reports suggested that Amazon Prime Video made an offer of a staggering 350 crore for exclusive rights to release the film on its platform. Netflix too reportedly made an offer of Rs 300 crore to the producers of Radhe Shyam. However, the producers are keen on releasing the film in theatres first.

The Radha Krishna Kumar directorial and one of the biggest pan-India love stories, 'Radhe Shyam,' will simultaneously release in Hindi and Telugu while being dubbed in Tamil and Malayalam. The film is all set to entertain the audience in theatres on March 11, 2022.
