Celebs touch down in Ayodhya: Rajinikanth and Dhanush reach to attend ‘Pran Pratishtha’

From Bollywood actors to South superstars, celebrities have begun to land in Ayodhya for the grand Ram temple consecration on Monday. Several celebrities have been invited to witness the historic moment. A day before the mega ‘pran pratistha’ ceremony, many of the film stars took off to touch down in Ayodhya.

In a video released by news agency ANI, superstar Rajinikanth was seen with Dhanush at Chennai airport. Fans gathered to get a glimpse of their favourite stars as the two were spotted at airport. Dressed in a green t-shirt, Rajinikanth greeted his fans with folded hands. Dhanush, on the other hand, wore a blue tracksuit. In another video, the duo was seen arriving at a hotel in Ayodhya ahead of the Ram Mandir consecration.

While some have decided to reach a day prior, many more celebrities will be seen arriving on Monday. Besides Rajinikanth and Dhanush, actors like Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Akshay Kumar and many others have been invited for the event.

Among the celebrities who reached Ayodhya on Sunday were Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher and Vivek Oberoi. Kangana Ranaut swept and cleaned the premises of the Hanuman Garhi temple and also participated in religious activities.
