Priyanka Chopra roped in for Prashanth Neel’s film opposite Jr NTR? Here’s what we know

Jr NTR fans are eagerly waiting for his film with ‘KGF’ director Prashanth Neel to go on floors. Now, if reports are to be believed global star Priyanka Chopra has also been approached to star in this project.

According to India Today report, Prashanth Neel will be helming an action entertainer that revolves around the India-Pakistan border, and given that Priyanka is doing a lot of action-based projects, the producers are in talks with her. Sources say the role could be exciting for her.

The movie is being produced in collaboration with NTR Arts, which is Jr NTR's brother Nandamuri Kalyanram's production house. It is expected to go on floors only in 2024.

The filmmakers are yet to confirm this news officially.

Currently, Jr NTR has big projects in his kitty. He is shooting for Koratala Siva's film, ‘Devara’, with Jahnvi Kapoor. Tarak also has Hrithik Roshan's ‘War 2’, which will mark his big Bollywood debut. The shooting for the Siddharth Anand directorial is likely to start at the end of 2023.

On the other hand, ‘Devara’, produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, is slated to have a pan-Indian release on April 5, 2024, in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film marks Janhvi Kapoor's south debut. Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist in the film.
