Netizens call ‘Adipurush’ ‘cheap copy’ of ‘Avengers’; reminded of other Hollywood films and shows

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Adipurush’ has been facing a lot of criticism for its poor VFX and dialogues. Now, a video has emerged that shows the film has copied a scene from the 2012 Marvel blockbuster ‘Avengers’.

Several netizens shared similar scenes and accused ‘Adipurush’ makers of plagiarism.

Besides ‘Avengers’, the bat creature that Ravana rides and feeds meat, bears a striking resemblance to Dracarys, the legendary Dragon from ‘Game of Thrones’.

Raut’s VFX team also took inspiration from Tim Burton’s ‘Planet of the Apes’. Look at the CGI work gone into creating Raghav’s vanar sena.

The landscape of Ravana’s castle seems to be directly lifted from Peter Jackson’s ‘The Two Towers’ chapter from ‘Lord of the Rings’ which showcases the ogres and Sauron’s menacing reign at Mordor and Mount Doom.

Meanwhile, ‘Adipurush’ has crash landed at the domestic box office because of the negative word of mouth. The film has also been slammed for deviating from the epic Ramayana, which is considered holy by many Hindus.
