BTS eldest member Jin hugged 1000 lucky ARMYs at his first event after the military discharge. Videos of the epic fan meet are going viral and making fans emotional.

A thousand BTS fans got lucky and received a hug that they will cherish forever. A day after his discharge from the military, BTS eldest member Jin held his first fan meet and gave out free hugs at the event. The event was part of BTS’ 11th debut anniversary celebrations.

Jin’s free hug event highlights

It was an emotional moment for the K-pop idol and his fans to meet and see each other after such a long time. In the viral videos, overwhelmed BTS ARMYs can be heard screaming and crying but most importantly celebrating their favourite boyband.

Jin wore a baggy T-shirt and had cardboard around his neck, which read ‘hug me’. The singer was back with his pink mic as he addressed his fans. He cautioned the excited fans to be slow and was heard requesting, “No attack please.”

The event reportedly went on for around an hour. In between the singer took small water breaks and embraced a thousand fans. As Jin hugged his fans, BTS songs were heard playing in the background. Fans could hear ‘Spring Day’ and ‘Permission to Dance’ among other songs that played during the event in the video.

While 1000 fans used their luck, the rest of ARMY were glued to social media to get glimpses of the event. Fans got emotional to see BTS eldest member back and interacting with his fans.

Jin’s military discharge

Jin is the first member to complete his military service and got discharged on June 12. He received a heart-warming welcome by his bandmates outside the military base. All the members hugged Jin while the band’s leader RM played ‘Dynamite’ on saxophone. The videos of their epic reunion also went viral on social media.
